Hello,
Primary 2 and 2/3 are looking to develop the school garden. They are looking for any spare parts. I have included a list below. If you are able to donate anything could you please email me to let me know what it is so we don’t end up with more than we need? Thank you for your support.

Logs, sticks, cones, stones, pebbles, whiskey barrel planters, decking/planks of wood (please check for nails).
palettes, cable drums, willow baskets, guttering, buckets, funnels, pots/ pans, tarpaulins, nets, hammocks, fake grass, old welly boots.
We are hoping to go outside tomorrow. Could you possibly put a pair of wellies in your school bag?
Thank you. Mrs Smith.
We have been learning how to weigh things using the terms: heavier, lighter, the same as, not as heavy as etc.
We have been learning about alphabetical order. Look at all our fabulous work. Some of the boys and girls wanted to order their books and games at home. Give it a go!
Over the next couple of weeks we will be making and tasting food. This will include broth soup, shortbread, oatcakes, diet irn-bru, cheese and haggis. I have put a little note in your homework diary. Can you please indicate if you are happy for your child to take part and leave a comment if there are any issues? Thank you, Mrs Smith
I know this is last minute but could the children bring in some twigs/ sticks tomorrow please?

In our science this week we had a discussion around electric cars, scooters and bike. We decided to discover how these things might work! Through lots of testing and determination we all managed to create a circuit.
Mrs Smith.
We have been learning about floating and sinking. We learned about the word buoyancy and looked and why some things float and other sink.
We designed an experiment to test items.
We also designed our own boats and then made models to test. It took us a wee while to perfect our design. We had to make quite a lot of changes but we got there in the end. Niamh was first to get her boat to float on the water.

I really hope this works. The children have been working hard in their music class. Here are 2 songs we have been learning. They are all fantastic little singers. I love working with them in the music room.
