Our homework this will be slightly different than on previous weeks. The children will have an I spy sheet where they are took look around their home, or wherever suits, to find things containing the phonemes that we have worked on since the start of term. Please encourage them to use their knowledge of their phonics to spell the words that they write.

For numeracy this week I would like the children to search around their home for places that they find numbers. I have given them a sheet to fill in and have asked for 5 different things, although I am sure many of the children will find a great deal more than this!

We will go over our new reading books in class tomorrow ready for the children to complete thereafter. Books for this week will be:

Book Bandits – My Holiday

Page Pirates – Zip and Zap and the Thing

Word Wizards – The Quiz went Fizz

Sound Stars – Tin Man Tim

Also, just a wee reminder that we are off school next week with the children returning on Tuesday 19th October.
