What is World Thinking Day?
World Thinking Day, formerly Thinking Day, is celebrated annually on 22 February by all Girl Guides and Girl Scouts. It is also celebrated by Scout and Guide organisations around the world. It is a day when they think about their “sisters” and “brothers” in all the countries of the world, the meaning of Guiding, and its global impact.
We will be celebrating World Thinking Day in school on Tuesday 22nd February and are inviting pupils who are part of an organisation such as Rainbows, Guides, Scouts, BB’s etc. to come to school dressed in their uniforms that day.

Primary 1/2 explored the forces of “push” and “pull”. They found that the size of the force applied affects the size of the movement!
They also had fun learning about magnets, magnetic materials and forces.

We also investigated electricity, discussing which appliances in our daily lives require power to work.
We even built our own circuits with a light bulb and switch using a battery as our power source!

Please complete the form below only if you do not wish your child to receive ashes on Ash Wednesday.

At the moment, our Primary 4 pupils are preparing for their Confirmation.
Please keep them in your prayers.

Bonjour!
This week is ‘Language Week Scotland.’ We are enjoying celebrating world languages, and all classes are participating in lots of fun language related activities, songs, and games.
We have been learning some facts and well known phrases in a different language each day and are using our languages skills around the school.
We look forward to sharing some of our learning with you!

Well done to all the boys and girls from Primary 2/3, who participated in the recital of our Scots poem ‘Crocodile’ by JK Annand today in class. The pupils spoke with confidence and expression and did such a good job of reciting this in front of their peers! A huge well done! Each pupil has received a certificate for their efforts! Super job!
