We have had several phonecalls regarding the purchase of tickets on Parentpay .
Just to clarify; the tickets are £4 each, however, when multiple tickets are initially added to Parentpay the cost is showing as considerably more, and parents/carers are being put off purchasing them due to this.
Please be assured that when you continue with the transaction to the final payment stage, the total will be corrected.
Thank you

Our Sports Day will be held on tomorrow, 6th June.
We are very excited to be holding our Sports Day tomorrow June and are keeping our fingers crossed for good weather! Parents/carers are invited to come along on the day through the main car park gates and making their way through the upper playground to the grass area at the rear of the school.
Signs will be in place to follow.
We are encouraging the children to come to school wearing their sports clothes, House colours where possible. If your child does not know what House they are in, please contact the school office.
Children should bring with them comfortable clothes as they will take part in different activities throughout the day. They should also bring sun cream, a hat, sunglasses and plenty of water.
Can we ask that immediately after your child’s races that you exit the school grounds to make way for the next group of Parents/Carers to attend and so on. Thank you.
Here is the running list for the races for each class:

We are pleased to let you know that our phone lines are now back up and running.
Apologies for any inconvenience

We would be obliged if you would please take the time to complete the following Learning Journals survey:

We are looking to borrow approx. 20 St. Joseph’s Academy ties to use in our school show this year.
If any parents/carers have any at home that we could possibly borrow we would be extremely grateful.
Thank you in advance.

This week, Matilda rehearsals will take place after school on Wednesday instead of tomorrow. We appreciate this may clash with some pupils who attend the after school Multi-sports club, however, in this instance, the show takes priority and those pupils should attend rehearsals this week rather than sports club.
Only those pupils who have already been called for rehearsals this week should attend.
Thank you and apologies for any inconvenience.
Please note: Instead of vegetarian haggis for lunch tomorrow it will be non-vegetarian. Apologies for any inconvenience.

We are pleased to be able to offer our Primary 6 pupils Level 1 Bikeability Training. For children to participate they must have their own bike and helmet and these items cannot be shared.
A bike check will take place on Monday 13th May. Children should bring their bike and helmet to school on this day. Mr Bertoncini will provide details of any items that require to be repaired for the bike and helmet.
The children will then take part in 2 days of Bikeability Training which will include theory and practical work.
Children should again bring their bikes to school on Tuesday 21st May and Wednesday 29th May. Appropriate clothing should be worn for taking part in outdoor activities.
