Happy birthday Charles Rennie Mackintosh!
Born on 7th of June 1868 in Townhead, Glasgow.
We enjoyed looking at his fine pencil and watercolour paintings of flowers.
It is said that Charles Rennie Mackintosh’s watercolours are both botanically accurate and exquisitely drawn!
We then had a go ourselves…
He designed this house in a town called Helensburgh not far from Glasgow.
It has a beautiful garden.
