ECC Family Wall

Good morning everyone,

We would like to make a family wall display within the ECC playroom.  Could I ask all our families if they could upload a picture under the ‘Parents Achievements’ tab on Learning Journals, of their family please?  We will then print this out in ECC to make our display.

This is an amazing opportunity for children to bring a piece of themselves into the ECC. Develops communication and language with peers and staff.

We look forward to seeing all your pictures.

Thank you,

Maria

Welcome Back

Good morning everyone,

We hope you have all had a lovely summer, we are delighted to be welcoming back the children to the ECC tomorrow, whether this be our returners or some of our new starts.  A few reminder details:

Doors open at 8:45am for drop off – the children will be dropped off in the ECC playground where a member of staff will take them into the ECC. For our new families, we have found in previous years this makes that initial separation a lot easier so if you are taking pictures I would advise to do so before a member of staff take them into the ECC.  Also for our new starts the pick up time for Thursday and Friday will be 11am – this allows for a smooth transition and your child getting used to a new environment for the 2 days and we can discuss longer stay from Monday 22nd August.

ECC doors open at 2:45pm – Please be sharp.

Information regarding your child’s group and keyworker will go home with your child tomorrow so please check their bag.

If your child has any allergies or medical information – please ensure to speak with a member of staff.

If you have any queries then please phone 01563 525098.

We will see you all tomorrow,

Maria

Wednesday 29th June

Good morning,

We will be stopping for the Summer break on Wednesday 29th June.  As it is the last day we will be organising a Teddy Bears picnic to enjoy with all the children. Please can your child bring along their favourite cuddly toy to take to our picnic.

Remember to put your child’s name or initials on the tag of their cuddly toy if possible, so we have no mix-ups.

The ECC doors will open at 12:45pm on the Wednesday for pick up time for the children. The School and ECC close at 1pm.

If you need any other information please ask a member of staff or contact me at maria.paterson@eastayrshire.org.uk

Trip to Kidzplay

Hello everyone……

Not long now until we will be off on our ECC trip to kidzplay.

We hope to be leaving on the bus 9:30am sharp so please ensure that your child is here on time. Your child can wear casual clothes but as it is softplay we would recommend trousers/leggings as we do not want any injuries on the slides. The children MUST have on socks. Please also dress for the weather.

We will have lunch at Kidzplay and hope to return to the ECC for 2pm.  We will then have an afternoon snack before end of the day.

We are really looking forward to a fun filled day.

Any questions please ask a member of staff.

Maria
