We are looking forward to welcoming you back tomorrow after the October break. A little reminder on events we have on this week;
Wednesday 26th October Danceathon – the children will be participating in a special day with lots of dancing including zumba, sticky kids, teaching them some new moves, as well as some of our usual favourites. Can you please dress your child in comfortable clothes and shoes to take part. If you have yet to bring in sponsor money please do so by Friday 28th.
Friday 28th October Halloween Party – we will be hosting a spooktacular party on Friday that the children can come dressed up for. We will be playing games, dooking for apples and ofcourse a party snack.
We appreciate all the effort made by our families and are looking forward to an exciting and eventful week.
If you have any questions please ask a member of staff.
If you are attending the Harvest Disco tonight, we hope you all have a fantastic time. A few reminders –
6:15 – 7:15
Adults must stay with children from ECC during this time.
If you haven’t yet got a ticket yet, please get them from the school main office.
Sponsored Danceathon
You will remember you received home a sponsor form for our sponsored danceathon on Wednesday 26th October. If you could possibly return these by Friday 14th October it would be greatly appreciated. This will help the ECC hugely in our plans for festive activities with the children.
Halloween Party
On Friday 28th October the ECC will be hosting a Halloween Party. The children can come to nursery that day all dressed up in their costumes.
Although Halloween is certainly a spooky time of year…. please be aware that we have young children in the ECC and therefore recommend no masks or costumes that are too scary.
If you have any questions, please ask a member of staff
We are delighted to announce we will be holding a Danceathon on Wednesday 26th October for all the children in the ECC.
Your child will have a sponsor sheet home with them today or tomorrow. Please return this with any funds raised before Friday 14th October 2022. We are hoping to use the funds raised in our Danceathon for our Christmas plans this year that we can enjoy and share with all our families.
On the day of the danceathon we ask that children come wearing leggings/trousers/shorts and a t-shirt and comfortable shoes. We plan on doing a lot of dancing!!!
I will put out a reminder of this closer to the date.
We really appreciate all our families cooperation in making our ECC great for the children.
We are asking that each child bring in their own water bottle to the ECC that can be kept with us. We will ensure that their names are on these.
The children do have access to drinking water throughout their day in the ECC, but we believe this will make is even more accessible for them both indoors and outdoors. It will also encourage children to stay hydrated throughout their busy days within the ECC.
These bottles will be for water ONLY.
If you are having any issues in supplying a bottle, please let a member of staff know.
We would like to make a family wall display within the ECC playroom. Could I ask all our families if they could upload a picture under the ‘Parents Achievements’ tab on Learning Journals, of their family please? We will then print this out in ECC to make our display.
This is an amazing opportunity for children to bring a piece of themselves into the ECC. Develops communication and language with peers and staff.
ALL MEDICATION ADMINISTERED TO CHILDREN IN THE ECC MUST HAVE BEEN PRESCRIBED BY GP OR PHARMACY.
Should your child develop conjunctivitis they can remain in the ECC as long as they have treatment. The parent/guardian must administer the first dose.
If you need any further information please contact the ECC on 01563 525098.
