Primary 5/4 have been working hard this term.  We’ve got to know each other well and are learning lots about our topic, the ‘Titanic.’  Our novel this term is ‘Kaspar, Prince of Cats,’ which is also partly based on the ship.

We have started out Reading for Gold Challenge, and are looking forward to see who is first to achieve their Bronze Award.  It only takes reading 5 books to achieve this!

Our Numeracy topic this term has been Place Value and Rounding/Estimating.  We are also learning about the properties of 2D and 3D shapes and have a magic trick to check for right angles in any shape!

As well as that, as you can see below, we are working hard on our multiplication tables, making arrays, Multiplication Ninjas and testing our knowledge on the computer.
