Water Warriors

Today we have been Water Warriors. We have been raising money to help provide clean water and toilets cross the world and have learned about some of the places that have received help from Water Warriors. We created our own water themed shields and masks.

Cricket

Kilmarnock Cricket Club came to give us a cricket taster session. It was lots of fun and everyone developed their skills in batting and bowling. We may have a few future cricket stars in our class!

World of Work Week

We enjoyed meeting lots of different visitors who inspired us by telling us about some of the many careers that we may want to do when we are older.

 

Family learning and Class Assembly

We really enjoyed sharing some of our learning about the Ancient Greeks with our families and peers at our family session and class assembly.

Danger Detectives

The Primary 6s were fortunate enough to share a bus with Kilmaurs Primary to take part in Danger Detectives at Dean Park. We learned what was safe and what was not. We had lots of fun using our detective skills. Thank you to Active Schools for inviting us to come along. 😊

World Book Day

We enjoyed different book related activities throughout the day. Do you like our page corner book marks we made based on book characters we liked?

Cultural Diversity Week

We were lucky enough to have a number of visitors in to speak to us about the different cultures they followed. Some of our pupils were also keen to share their beliefs with others.

Glasgow Science Centre

We had so much fun exploring all the different activities available at the science centre. We also got to visit the Planetarium to brush up on out knowledge of the Solar System.
