For World Book Day next Thursday, instead of being given a token for a free book that they must redeem themselves, the children will be able to choose one of the 2022 World Book Day books in school!
WH Smith have kindly supplied (in exchange for the tokens) the full selection of books for our children to choose from!
The DFS Inclusion Committee are going to set up a ‘Free Book Shop’ on WBD, where every child can go and select a book to take home! Here are the books available for different reading levels:

In the attached letter you will find some updated information on the P7 transition arrangements for 2022 from Robert Burns Academy.
Barry Holmes has organised three weeks of rugby sessions for Primary 4a, 4b, 5 and 6.
The sessions will take place on Wednesday 26th January and Wednesday 2nd & 9th February.
Please ensure that your child brings their PE kit to school on those days. For most of the classes, this would be their normal PE day.
Sessions will take place on the Astro or in the Main Hall, depending on the weather.

Great opportunity for some community football sessions for children in the P4-7 age group. Sessions are free up to and including the session WB13th December. Details on poster below.
