Thank you to everyone that contributed to our recent Dress Down Day on 13th October.
The dress down day was inconjuntion with the Clean Green Campaign. Georgia and Kaylie’s aim was to purchase a new recycling bin to reduce plastic waste in the school and school playground.
Our bin has arrived and will hopefully be full of plastic waste soon.
Well done girls.

In our September Home Circles we highlighted Article 12 of the UN Convention of the Rights of the Child which states that every child has the right to express their views, feelings and wishes in all matters affecting them, and to have their views considered and taken seriously. This right applies at all times: during immigration proceedings, housing decisions or the child’s day to day home life.Â

A huge well done to Caleb and Curtis in P6 who have both been chosen to play for the East Ayrshire District Primary School Football Team this year.
Both boys have attended three trials and have made it through the rigorous selection process. We are very proud of them both and look forward to hearing about their games with the EAC team.
Our Christmas Lunch will be on Wednesday 13th December.

The BBC Children in Need is having a Great SPOTacular Appeal Night on Friday 17th November, live on BBC One and iPlayer.
Your child can come dressed in Spots, Pudsey gear or in casual clothes for a Dress Down Day on Friday 17th November.
We are NOT taking donations in school, the link to Donate direct is below.
Primary 6/7 will be selling Poppies from Wednesday 1st November till Friday 10th November. Poppies cost £1.00 each.
Please dont send in cash, payment can be made via Parentpay.
All monies raised will be forwarded to “The Scottish Poppy Appeal”. Thank you for your continued support.
After the successful trip to the Odeon last December, we have decided to go again.
The whole school will visit the Kilmarnock Odeon on Thursday 21st December, to see Trolls Band Together.
The cost will be £5 per person.
(The cost of the tickets are £7 per person, the Parent Council are kindly donating £2 per child, to keep the cost down. Thank you Parent Council.)The payment has been added to parentpay and can now be paid.
We will provide the transport and a snack for all children.
