We are delighted to offer our P5 to P7 pupils a Badminton afterschool club starting on Thursday 17th September, and will run on 24th Sept, 1st Oct and 8th Oct. The class will be from 3.00pm till 3.50pm.
The class will be taken by Tommy Milgrew of Ayrshire Badminton Club.
If you wish your child to attend please complete the form. Please note that there is a minimum and maximum number of children required to run this event.

Just a reminder that our Rag Bag collection date is Monday 14th Sept.
We can start taking bags from Thursday 10th September.
Good reason to clear out some drawers and cupboards.

Your child will be given a QR code for the Catrine PS GLOW page and their class GLOW blog page.
These are being handed out over the next few days.
They are an ideal size to put on the fridge door for easy access to the GLOW pages. Every Friday teachers put up a post highlighting what their class has been focusing on that week, including great photos of our pupils hard at work.

Just a reminder that Catrine Primary School operates a School Streets restriction that closes roads around the school to non-resident traffic during drop-off and pick-up times to protect children.
Restriction Times (Monday – Friday) : Morning: 8:45 AM – 9:15 AM & Afternoon: 2:45 PM – 3:15 PM
Key Rules & Details
We appreciate that parents/carers follow the School Streets programme, and in some cases you may have to bring your car to the school. If this is the case please be mindful and respect home owners that live in Fourfields and James Taylor Avenue, and DO NOT park across their driveways.

Well done to this week’s winners for being excellent pupils in our dinner hall.




After last year’s successful outing, we are delighted to be taking the whole school to The Galleon in Kilmarnock to the Christmas Panto ‘Beauty and the Beastie’.
The Parent Council have kindly donated £4.00 per pupil towards the cost. The remainder of the cost is £9.00 per child. This includes the panto, bus and a snack.
Payment will be set up as two payments over the next two months. Please pay £4.50 by Friday 11th September and Friday 9th October. Alternatively you can pay both payments straight away.
