QR codes for GLOW and class GLOW blogs

Your child will be given a QR code for the Catrine PS GLOW page and their class GLOW blog page.

These are being handed out over the next few days.

They are an ideal size to put on the fridge door for easy access to the GLOW pages. Every Friday teachers put up a post highlighting what their class has been focusing on that week, including great photos of our pupils hard at work.

Make sure to take the time to try out our QR codes.

Catrine PS – School Streets Programme

Just a reminder that Catrine Primary School operates a School Streets restriction that closes roads around the school to non-resident traffic during drop-off and pick-up times to protect children.

Restriction Times (Monday – Friday) : Morning: 8:45 AM – 9:15 AM & Afternoon: 2:45 PM – 3:15 PM

Key Rules & Details

  • Traffic Ban: Cars and vans cannot enter the streets around the school during the restricted hours.
  • Exceptions: Rules do not apply to local residents, permit holders, or blue badge holders.
  • Goals: The project aims to reduce traffic congestion at the school gate, lower pollution, and encourage walking or cycling.

We appreciate that parents/carers follow the School Streets programme, and in some cases you may have to bring your car to the school. If this is the case please be mindful and respect home owners that live in Fourfields and James Taylor Avenue, and DO NOT park across their driveways.

Thank you

Allergy Aware School

We have children in the school who have various food intolerances and allergies, including a nut intolerance.

Thank you for your cooperation with this.
