Today our committee came up with questions and created a form relating to how inclusive we think it is at Catrine Primary School. An email was sent out with a link to all teachers so that every body can express their opinions. They are going to rate it from 1-5 using stars.

We were very lucky to be able to buy some new musical instruments for our school. Today we played with the Boomwhackers’ during our committee group.
“They help you learn how to play music” – Charlotte
“Today we have been learning to play with Boomwhackers” – Gracie
“They were fun. My favourite song to play along to was Believer” – Josh
“We had fun playing with the Boomwhackers” – Calli
“I like doing it” – Ayden
“It was really enjoyable” – Myia
“I like the big ones. It was big C” – Layla
“It was really fun” – Gracie-Leigh
Tomorrow is week 3 of our visit to Visions for our swimming lessons.
Can all P5s remember to come dressed in swim wear and bring a separate bag with a towel and underwear?
If you took home your bus pass last week, PLEASE REMEMBER TO BRING THIS TOMORROW.
Thank you.
Please take the time to look at the PE timetable, there has been some amendments to this.
Can we also ask that all pupils please bring in a suitable PE kit for the days they have PE.
We have had an increase in the number of pupils that do not have a PE kit with them.
PE kit should consist of indoor gym shoes/trainers & joggers. leggings or shorts.
Thank you

Well done to this week’s winners for being excellent pupils in our dinner hall.

We’re delighted – but also really sad – that Miss Caughie will be leaving us on Friday 15th March to take up a new post in a residential school in the Scottish Highlands.
Miss Caughie, along with Mrs McCaig, has been teaching our P3/4 class since August last year and has quickly become a valued member of #Team Catrine PS staff.
We wish her all the luck in the world in her new position.
Just a reminder that there is a Parent Council meeting this Wednesday 21st February at 7.00pm.
The meeting will take place at Catrine Games Hall.
All welcome.

The Ayrshire Deaf Club are starting a juniors group for Deaf children, CODA’s & siblings of Deaf children this month, details below.

Miss McLean visited us yesterday and we all had the pleasure of meeting Ellis.
Ellis is now 6 weeks old and is as cute as a button. Miss McLean thanked P4/5 for the lovely cards they had made for her.
Ellis was exhausted after meeting everyone and snuggled into her mum before heading off home. We look forward to them visiting again soon.
