As part of STEM P7E were tasked with making Chinese Dragons out of junk materials. We worked in groups to create smaller dragons and then together to make a huge class dragon! Excellent planning and creativity 7E!

P7E had a brilliant afternoon preparing 2 dishes as part of the health and food programme. We learned a lot of vital life skills such as preparing, cutting, cooking, cleaning and safety along with many others. We enjoyed the tasty curry and fruit salad once done!

P7E received a Climate Ready certificate thanks to the Keep Scotland Beautiful initiative. They took part in various workshops/activities to raise their awareness and knowledge on how to better our planet. Their favourite activity was the scavenger hunt! P3P, P3C and P7E went to Tesco on Tuesday afternoon to spread some Christmas joy. What a turnout they got! Well done everyone, your singing was amazing and brought lots of smiles to people’s faces! 🎅🎄

P7E took part in an interactive call from @skillsdevscot. They were learning about Game Designs, even getting to make their own game. They used different commands/coding on their Chromebooks. This gives them skills that will be needed in later life and in workplaces. 💻💻💻

All P7s were given a presentation from @XLCC this afternoon. This was about exciting new job opportunities that will be created in the future, providing over hundreds of jobs in the renewable/sustainable field of work.

🟩🟩🟩P7E volunteers are out every morning/end of school in the run up to collection day on Wednesday for Rags2Ritches. They have some spare bags if needed. Any donations little or big are greatly appreciated! Donations can also be handed in via the school office.🟩🟩🟩

P7E took part in the Children’s Rights Assembly today. This was to celebrate and raise awareness of their rights. They participated well with the questions and enjoyed the story told! 📖📖📖

🎶P7E are now getting music lessons from the Grange. On Friday they were leaning about how to make a tune to their own name and then got to try the beat on an instrument. Huge thanks to Mrs Craven’s for giving up her free time to do these lessons! #Campuslearning🎶

Evie, Lewis and Mr Ewing visited Loudoun Academy today as part of the Clean Green Award Initiative. It was brilliant hearing from lots of guest speakers giving us some good ideas. Team Annanhill have some great ideas as we begin the journey to achieve our next award! Well done! @CleanGreenEastAyrshire @Netzero
