🌍❤️ Rights in Action at St Joseph’s! ❤️🌍
This month, our Right of the Month is Article 26 – the right to social and economic help. As part of our continued Rights Respecting work, pupils are helping everyone across the school understand what our monthly right means and, importantly, how we can see it in action at St Joseph’s.
A huge well done to Jessica and Robin from our Pupil Council, who worked together to create this fantastic poster. They highlighted examples including our Macmillan Coffee Afternoon, school uniform swaps and supporting Children in Need, as well as the importance of making sure everyone feels included.
Even better, this work has helped us tick another action off our ‘Our Gold Rights Mission’ action points as we continue to build on our Rights Respecting Schools work. ⭐💛
It is fantastic to see our pupils taking the lead, raising awareness of children’s rights and helping our whole school community recognise how we can put those rights into action every day.
Fantastic work, Jessica and Robin! ❤️👏🌟
