β˜•πŸ° Our Macmillan Coffee Afternoon – A Huge Success!

Our Enterprise Group, with Mrs Mann and help from Mrs Westbrook, organised an amazing Macmillan Coffee Afternoon here at St Joseph’s – and what a fantastic success it was! 🌟

The children worked so hard behind the scenes in the run-up to the event, preparing games, stalls and decorations. Families and friends donated an incredible selection of baking – cakes, traybakes, biscuits – filling the hall with delicious smells and tempting treats.

On the day, the Enterprise Group ran a variety of fun stalls, including β€œGuess the Name of the Bear” (won by Hope πŸŽ‰) and the Matchbox Game, where children picked a number to win sweets. We also had teas, coffees and juice available – huge thanks to Heather Corrigan for stepping in to help serve the drinks.

We were blown away by the support from our school community. The turnout was amazing and everyone enjoyed a chance to chat, play games, and share a cuppa for a good cause. Afterwards, the children got to run outside and celebrate a job well done.

Together, we raised an incredible amount for Macmillan Cancer Support. Thank you to everyone who baked, came along, and supported us. It truly was a fantastic day! πŸ’š
