Our school community has been busy working on our Rights Respecting School award (RRSA). . Today, we have been awarded our Bronze award. This means we are ‘Rights Committed’. Jo from the Red Squirrel Group joined us today to talk to the children about how we can encourage red squirrels and other wildlife into our area. Primary 7 pupils from Portpatrick and St. Joseph’s R.C. schools travelled together to the Academy for a transition event today. The pupils had the opportunity to make new friendships to support them as they prepare for the next stage of their education.
