Spring Clean Litter Pick

Today, armed with litter-pickers and bin bags the pupils of Kirkcolm Primary decided to give their community a spring clean!

In groups they headed round the village to see what they could spot and tidy up. The had some fun finds! There were items of clothing and wiring tubing but nothing too special and no treasure! Groups divided off with the littlest of us tackling the playground, the middle the beach and the eldest trekking up into the village!

Pupils managed to fill 2 huge bags full by the end! All and all, it was a successful morning out and about doing their bit for the community and environment!
