🏰A Castle Filled Morning In Stranraer🏰

As part of their Castles topic P1-4 took the bus into town with their friends from Leswalt to look at our very own ‘toon’ castle! The Castle of St Johns sits squarely in the middle of Stranraer town centre so they got the grand tour of the castle today!

They learned all about the different uses for the castle over the many many years it has stood standing and what life was like for the prisoners who were kept there. After that they walked up the centre of the town to the museum where they engaged in a scavenger hunt which let them look at all the wonders of the towns history located in the museum!

A fab and informative morning for all!
