In primary 6/7 we were lucky enough to have Morna from my world of work come in to deliver a workshop on driverless cars. We were able to use Lego education to code our cars to follow journeys.

On Thursday 14th March we had a full day of Viking activities. We met Cathbad and Bjorn, who brought lots of clothes, weapons, animal skins and many other artefacts to share with us. We listened to Viking stories, played games, built longhouses and ask lots of questions! Take a look at the photos to see how much fun we had!

In Primary 6/7 we have been learning all about the Scottish Wars of Independence and Robert the Bruce.
To help us better understand what happened during the Battle of Bannockburn we created our own swords and shields and recreated the battle in the playground.

As part of British science week in Primary 6/7 we created water clocks. We developed many skills including being patient and observant.

P7 had great fun outside on the scooters!

Primary 6 have been having fun on Scooters. The scooters were provided by Sustrans.






What a busy day we had even though we were dressed for bedtime!
We read books, we listened to books, we completed an emoji book quiz, we went on a book scavenger hunt and watched a story on the big board. The highlight of the day was when Primary 7 joined us to make origami bookmarks.

Heathhall Primary School celebrated World Bok Day.
Primary 7 participated in a variety of fun activities throughout the day.
We worked alongside Primary 1 to make bookmarks and then all took part in a reading book quiz.
We then created our own character for a small book story which we wrote. we used the iPads to animate our character,

Primary 7 have been learning about The Scottish Wars of Independence. We have been learning about key events in the timeline and investigating the differences between the Scottish and English armies.
As part of this work we created life-size Scottish and English soldiers.

We went outside to work on our reading activities.
We designed a new book cover for our books and created our own blurb. we then shared a summary and predicted what we thought would happen next. We used descriptive vocabulary to sum up our thoughts on the books so far.
