Primary 6 has recently been educated on a workshop through My World of Work. We worked in two’s to code a programme for a driverless car.
Primary 6 has been completing STEM challenges over the past few weeks. One of them is the marshmallow and spaghetti challnge.
The winner was the group who could build the tower which could stand without being supported.
In primary 6/7 we were lucky enough to have Morna from my world of work come in to deliver a workshop on driverless cars. We were able to use Lego education to code our cars to follow journeys.
On Thursday 14th March we had a full day of Viking activities. We met Cathbad and Bjorn, who brought lots of clothes, weapons, animal skins and many other artefacts to share with us. We listened to Viking stories, played games, built longhouses and ask lots of questions! Take a look at the photos to see how much fun we had!
In Primary 6/7 we have been learning all about the Scottish Wars of Independence and Robert the Bruce.
To help us better understand what happened during the Battle of Bannockburn we created our own swords and shields and recreated the battle in the playground.
As part of British science week in Primary 6/7 we created water clocks. We developed many skills including being patient and observant.
P7 had great fun outside on the scooters!
