The Vikings Visit Heathhall!
On Thursday 14th March we had a full day of Viking activities. We met Cathbad and Bjorn, who brought lots of clothes, weapons, animal skins and many other artefacts to share with us. We listened to Viking stories, played games, built longhouses and ask lots of questions! Take a look at the photos to see how much fun we had!
iBike Breakfast – January 2024
On Wednesday 24th January we had our first Bike Breakfast of the year. Despite the weather, we had a fantastic turn out of 56 children!
Everyone enjoyed a delicious breakfast in the school hall before starting their day. Well done to the iBike Crew for all their hard work.
Look out for the next one in the Spring term.

Class display boards
We wanted to share some of our fantastic work currently displayed in our classroom and corridor. We are so proud of it! What do you think?
We have been reading ‘Fantastic Mr Fox’ By Roald Dahl. We created the farmers using lots of different materials and we wrote character descriptions.
We created these beautiful pumpkins using fine black pens to create line patterns, we then added autumnal colours.
P3 Forest Visit
On Friday 3rd November we went to Heathhall Forest with Briony from Sustrans. We had a lovely morning in the Autumn sunshine!
We had to collect lots of different leaves, then we tried to organise them by size and type. We also looked at the different leaves and worked out what trees they came from.
We were also lucky enough to see a white horse going for a walk through the forest!

Skills Academy
In Skills Academy this term we have learning all about how and where food is grown, local produce and how to prepare food in a hygienic and safe way.
The class also created a healthy and nutritious wrap for the school lunch menu. To celebrate the end of this block, we prepared and ate wraps for snack.
Impressive cutting and chopping skills!
