Better late than never! Here are the award winners for the 5th November.
Children In Need – Final Total
We can now reveal that Sheuchan Primary School raised a fantastic amount of £363.88 for Children In Need. A big thank you to everyone who donated to this worthwhile cause.
Awards for 19th November 2021
This week we awarded two certificates per class. The first one was for the person who is using our Learning Aliens in their learning and the second was for progress in their Numeracy. All the children enjoyed a hot chocolate and a biscuit with the Headteacher as an award. Looking forward to seeing who will be our winners next week for the Learning Alien award and our new award for Citizenship. Good luck!
Children In Need 2021
What a fantastic range of colours and styles we had coming through the school gates this morning to help raise money for Children in Need. The children were all very excited and looked fantastic. All classes had fun taking part in different activities throughout the day, within their classrooms. A final total will be announced at the start of next week. Thank you very much for your kind donations.
‘Out of this World’ winners
Well done to all the children who received an ‘Out of this World’ Award for displaying and using out Learning Aliens. The winners enjoyed a delicious cup of hot chocolate and a biscuit with Mrs McClymont as well as receiving their certificate. Who will receive the award next week? Will it be for Captain Resilient? Or being Curious Q? Or perhaps for using Reflect-O in their work?
Remembrance Service
Today we took part in a Remembrance Day Service outside in out Remembrance Garden. Sophie Hall, a secondary pupil, played the Last Post and Reveille on her trumpet. We participated in a 2 minute silence as well as reflecting on the poem ‘In Flanders Fields’ by John McCrae. As part of our short service pupils laid their class wreaths and listened to the National Anthem.
