Today P3/4 had great fun learning how to use the green screen and software to make a video of themselves in their own Egyptian paintings. They said it was very tricky and challenging but they had a go and the results speak for themselves. Well done P3/4 for concentrating, co-operating, being resilient and having a go!

Sheuchan A and Sheuchan B played at Kirkcolm Gala Day on 15th June 2019.

Sheuchan A fought hard through the tournament and got to the final after a tense penalty shoot out. Again they were facing Belmont A (from last night) but this time they won 2-0 to bring the cup back to Sheuchan. The boys were delighted with their win. Well done boys!

Sheuchan B also played well and made it to the semi finals. Unfortunately they faced Sheuchan A and lost to them. But they should be proud of their playing as they were up against older boys/girls from P6 and P7 through out the tournament.

Sheuchan A played well at Park School Fete in the pouring rain and got to the final. Unfortunately, Belmont A scored in the last few seconds and won the game. All the boys played well and gave 100%. They should be proud of themselves. (Missing from the photo: Adam Wilde and Innes Jack.

P1 enjoyed their trip to Dino Park today, 12th June. They spotted various dinosaurs in the park including the T-Rex, Velociraptor and Brachiosaurus! We took part in a craft activity in the Dino Den, donned a hard hat to explore the mine, pretended we were palaeontologists looking for fossils in the Dino Dig and even came across a very large Gorilla! To top it all off, we had super fun in the Treehouse Play Area.

Well done to the boys who took part in the Police Football Tournament tonight. They got to the semi-final but unfortunately lost to Belmont A.

Primary 6 and 7 were visited last week by people involved with Stranraer Coastal Rowing club.  They brought with them one of the Skiffs which the children were able to get inside and enjoy practising their rowing.  They explained all about the Skiff and the forthcoming Skiffie Worlds which are taking place in Stranraer this summer from 7-13 July.  The children have also got small skiff decorations, which they are currently painting, and will be on display in the town to promote it.

p1-3 started our Sports Day off on Monday, 3rd June. They all enjoyed running the different races such as flat, sack, skipping, obstacle and egg & spoon. They all took part in the Potted Sports so they can add more points to their houses. All the boys and girls looked happy with their morning’s effort.

p6 & p7 had their Sports day on Monday, 3rd June. Races and Potted Sports were completed just before the short shower of rain came on. Hopefully everyone had a great time.

P4 and P5 enjoyed a fantastic morning at their Sports Day. Events such as the flat race, obstacle race, egg and spoon as well as skipping and sack were enjoyed by all. Then they took part in Potted Sports to gain more points for their houses.
