We beat the streets – again

Leswalt Primary has been once again beating the street of Stranraer! The whole school accompanied by some parents spent a sunny Friday afternoon getting fit together.

P4 Active Games

Primary 4 recently enjoyed a morning competing in a whole variety of different sports, at London Road playing fields.  While they were there, they also got the chance to get some double points at a mobile Beat the Street box Well done to our team of 4!

Primary 5-7 angles

On the 14th of September the P5-7 class headed on out to the playground and began to draw angles. Mrs Ferguson took us out to the willow dome and explained the maths we would be doing. After she explained the primary sevens went off to do some recap work and draw an eight point compass. Emergency Education!!!!!!

  On 13th of September Duncan Brown came to give p5/6/7 a tour around his ambulance. We went in groups of 6 and 7 to see the inside of the ambulance. He took Charlotte , Kirstie , Kayleigh and Finlay’s heart rate reading. Leswalt Primary “Beat the street!”

All of Leswalt Primary headed into Stranraer this afternoon in an effort to “Beat the Street”.  The school split up into 4 groups and headed off in different directions. Mrs Ferguson and her squad managed to beep an impressive 10 boxes in 1 hour – covering 4.5 miles.  Way to go!
