Many thanks to the Fund-raising group who recently donated over £1000 towards the development of Literacy at Leswalt Primary. This money was used to purchase reading materials. A range of non-fiction texts have been bought to allow pupils to experience reading more factual texts. This money goes directly to Leswalt Primary – at no extra cost to yourself. All the pupils at Leswalt Primary recently enjoyed a Burns Supper in school. There was a varied entertainment programme and some fantastic toasts. Congratulations to all the award winners in our poetry recitation, artwork and handwriting competitions.
