Weasle Day

Hi everybody,

I have been learning about weasles today as we have a large number of them in our Holywood hedgerows. Found in woods, farms and large gardens, weasles are active both at night and in the da time. They sleep in burrows that have been abandoned by badgers or rabbits. Weasles live alone and mark their territory with a strong scent. They are busy mammals and need to eat regularly to keep their energy levels up. They cannot survive more than 24 hours without food.

Secrets

Hi everyone,

I learned about secret messages today.  Using secret messages is called code. It was used during wars when we needed to get messages to our spies and prisoners of war so they didn’t get hurt by the enemy.  I drew a secret message to mummy. It said I wanted her to make me some smarties cookies! Then I made up my own coded message where I changed the alphabet to numbers.

Later on, Caspian and I created a new superhero game which we played in our garden.

Wibble Wobble

Hello everybody,

I am really happy to be writing a new blog.

Today I made some bread. I have been watching and helping mummy make bread but I made it all on my own today. We had some for tea with our salad.

I have been learning a lot about the ocean. These are some of the facts I have found out. I hope you like them.

Most jelly fish are dangerous.

Some jelly fish glow in the dark.

Jelly fish are not very good swimmers.

Box jelly fish sting you with their tentacles.

I did two jelly fish pictures today. One is drawn in coloured pencil but the other is a collage. The blue frame is the sea. The sequins are the body and show all the lights of a jelly fish when it shines from the sun in the water.

We finished today off with a brilliant water fight in the garden. It was really good fun and helped us exercise and cool down a lot because it is really hot.

Today we went to Legoland in Windsor, England. We took a tour on the internet and looked around the whole park. Mummy asked me to create a ride I’d like to visit at an amusement park and I chose to create the Superheroes rollercoaster. It has different cars to ride in such as Ladybug car, Cat Noir car, the relaxing car where you can cuddle up in a duvet, there is a Supergirl car and a Harlequin car. It is not a scary ride but you have a lovely view from the top of the ride.

I have also made two wind chimes. I am sending the giraffe to my lovely friend in Cumbria.

We made some current buns and gave some to our neighbour.

Good luck Jack.

Lunar My Cat

My best friend, my cat Lunar was knocked down by a car. I have drawn a picture of her. I am very sad and miss her lots and lots. I can’t smile any more.

Party Night! 🐙🐳🐋🐚🦈

Today has been a really good day! I did really well in my maths and even though I needed help from Mummy with two of my sums, I got a Rupert Bear sticker in my book saying I had done very well. I also got two Hello Kitty well done stickers in my book for my cursive handwriting. I am carrying on with my Winnie the Witch book and wrote a review. Mummy gave me two prizes for working so hard today. I got a sea life sticker book and a little Lego set. I have put the stickers on my new exercise book. I am on book 4.

Review. I liked this page 53 because when Wilbur says ‘mrrow’ crossly, it is funny to me and made me smile.

Tonight, I had some of mummy’s home made bread and it is yummy. I had salmon fish cake, mash and broccoli for tea.

I have done my hair, put on my special jewellery and painted my nails and am having a dance and singing party with my brothers and sisters who live in Rainbow Land. I go there sometimes. It is a magic place so you cant get coronavirus there. I take Mummy and Mark there sometimes as they understands magic like me. Caspian likes to stay at home and read but I put my magic on him to keep him safe.

Lots of love from Tanith xxx

PS Good luck Charlie in your new school.

We’ll Meet Again 😪

Today I wrote some of my Winnie the Witch book to help improve my handwriting and spelling. I learnt about Dame Vera Lynn who was the forces sweetheart in the second world war. She died today. She was 103 years old.
