Learning

Hello. It’s me. Caspian. Today I will tell you about our learning.

Maths: Currently in maths we are doing fractions and multiples. We are learning how to simplify fractions.

Literacy: We are making an information report on climate change and pollution, and I am nearly done with the general structure before I write it out!

Big Thursday: In Big Thursday one of our topics is art. We are trying perspectives and I am not good at those, so I am thankful for art. We also have STEM, where we are sewing. I’m not the greatest sewer but I think I class as average :). In PE we are doing Orienteering. When we set up a trail for people to find flags, when me and Jackson hid our flag, we put it in the P 1/3 play area as most people might not look in there. In computer science/literacy we strengthened our typing skills with BBC Dance Mat Typing, although I still use my way of typing as it allows me to write the best way I can.

Religious Education: In RE we had to pick a religion from the box and make some presentations of it with our partner. Me and Freddie would have done Christianity, as it is simple, but we got Buddhism which (on my scale) is second best. We have to make a poster, a diorama of an event in a Buddhist’s life, and a model of their place of worship.

That concludes one of today’s blogs. I will post another one later when I get home. Also there is a FNAF reference at the top. Bye!

Stuck in My House

Hi. Today I am going to tell you about the wonders of home schooling! Not. I do not enjoy it and I’d rather be schooled at school. We are a complete pain at home, and I think I sent Mum mad a couple times. Anyway, the work I did was your usual maths, spelling, and literacy. Over the week, I acquired a taste for different styles of art, like anime. Oh and for an art lesson I drew a giant venus fly trap destroying a city. >:D In school at the moment, we are doing an Eco fashion show where we make outfits out of recycling things.

Newsround Headlines

Hey, Caspian here!

I’m really pleased as I got a well done from my violin teacher today. I’ve been practicing my violin every evening with mum and so I managed to complete a full piece of music. I did maths today and had a spelling test 15/17 not bad! I watched Newsround today and created a mind map which shows all the days headlines. I did some work on relative clauses, adverbials and conjunctions and wrote a short story.

Laters…

Hello, Caspian is here!

In English today I worked on story cohesion, planning and writing. In maths I did number and place value which included some stuff on decimal rounding problems and negative number problems. I read six more chapters from The Thieves of Ostia by Caroline Lawrence. It is about four children who are trying to solve a mystery in ancient Rome. I also made chocolate smarties cookies. I started some research on the origins of Pokémon and will share my facts later in the week.

Goodbyeeeeeeeee

Northern Lights

Hi, Caspian here.

Today I did the usual spelling, maths and literacy.

In maths I did some data gathering and pie charts and figured out most of my day is spent reading and drawing. I also made an autumnal picture and wrote a description  of it. They will be added at the bottom.

Goodbyeeeeeee!!!

A Blog for Learning

Hi. The past week we have been doing some maths, spelling, literacy and the usual. In PE we are doing some training so that we can run 5 km without stopping.  Health week will be next week. I don’t know much of the details though. We made a sketch note on the environment and how losing bees could kill us all. We are now making a game to save the planet. My partner is Rhona and we’re going to make a Monopoly like game. We have been doing algebra in maths and it has just been getting easier! Oh, and by the way, COP26 is happening in Glasgow right now! We have been doing some work on that.

See you in the next one BYEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE

Caspian.

Average I guess

Hi. Caspian here. Today I did some maths, spelling and literacy as per usual. I also practiced my violin for half an hour. I came out better than I expected. I also made a poster on COP26. My favourite part of today was the fact I got to draw my ideal relaxing delight. Now obviously that was me playing with Idris and feeding her dog treats away from it all. I will put the picture and poster down here:

Oh, and I also downloaded a custom cursor. At the moment I’m using a boyfriend one from Friday Night Funkin’.

Anyway, bye!

The Flytrap from Venus

Hi. Caspian here and I’m blogging for my first day of home learning. Well technically, it won’t be for long, unless more Covid cases show up. In which case I won’t be back for a bit.

Anyway… Today I started off with maths and played a game on top marks that covers all subjects and lets you go on an adventure along the way. At the moment I am an elf with an owl pet in the Lost City of Algebra. Then I did some literacy in my book, I did fronted adverbials. After that I played some more of the  game while we waited for Tanith to finish. We went for a walk to get some fresh air and had a picnic thereafter, and it was great!  Afterwards I had my violin lesson and completely lost my confidence but Mum has spoken to my teacher and they have hatched a plan to help me get up to speed. Anyway the best part of today was drawing venus flytraps. Mum said we had to interpret it in our own minds after looking at a picture of a real venus fly trap. I thought of a destructive beast, taller than buildings, stronger than tanks, and it also has quite an appetite.

Anyhow, I’m out of stuff to say. Bye!

The Cheesecake

Hi. Caspian here. Last night I made a cheesecake, as you can probably guess from the title. I made it with these ingredients:

100g melted butter

250g bashed up digestives

600g soft cheese

264ml double cream

1tsp vanilla essence

and 100g icing sugar.

I will put a picture of the cheesecake here:

Anyway…IT WAS DELICIOUS! (But rich).

Bye.

Happy Hallows Eve by the way.
