Fantastic Friday! 🐺

Today, I did art and made a ‘wash your hands’ poster. I enjoyed doing it and saw how important it was.

I got 10/10 in my maths test. I’m really pleased because it’s been hard working percentages all week. 🙂

I started my history project on 1936 to 1953. I found this very interesting.

We finished the day by making a veg broth.

Bye for now, see ya later! 😎

Water and Fire United

As part of my literacy lesson today, I was tasked with writing a short story incorporating two animals and a location. This is my story:

One day, a young water wolf wandered from its pack while they were trekking in the jungle. It saw some berries and went to eat them, only to find that the same thing happened to a fire wolf. They played tag for half an hour but then they heard howls and snarling and they got taken away by their mothers. Their packs were fighting. But the friends were not going to let this happen. They ran into the middle of the fight and talked some sense into the wolves. Some really smug wolf pushed them into each other and there was a red flash! They became obsidian wolves.  The rest of the pack did it and they became the most powerful pack of all!

Thursday

Caspian is back from a very flashy day! This time we started off the day with math and I still don’t like percentages  but I do like algebra. We did a lot of baking. We made oat cookies and shared them with the neighbours. I made scrambled eggs for lunch.  Me and Tanith made a short animation.  For what feels like a billion times, see ya tomorrow!

Archaeology and Nature

Hi, Caspian is back!

Today we had a nature class. As you can see from my picture, I drew and researched a golden eagle. Apparently the golden eagle makes friends in the air by interlocking their feet with other golden eagles and diving to the ground! My mum got the idea to do the class from yesterday when we were talking about birds of prey when we were out getting our exercise and fresh air. It was very interesting watching a programme about golden eagles to help my research.

I still HATE percentages but mum keeps giving me them to do until I get the hang of them.

In archaeology, we were pretending to be archaeologists from the year 3000. We looked at a household object each and talked about what they told us. I chose an xbox controller because its all I ever talk about! Tanith did her own underwear… cuckoo!! I liked the lesson but it got harder towards the end.

That’s all from me today, see you tomorrow!!

Tuesday Madness!

Caspian is back again! Today in music we listened to Danse Macabre by Saint Saens and described what we thought the piece of music was about. We also identified the instruments in the orchestra.

I got really bored in maths, percentages, ugh! I eventually got it done and it was better when mum helped me.

In animal management, I rode my bike with my dog to exercise us both. We made sure no one else was about as we need to self isolate.

See ya tomorrow!

Homeschool

Caspian is back at the keyboard bringing you the latest news! I started off the day stubbing my toe and ripping my nail and it really hurts! Then I sat around watching TV for a while before getting ready for school. Mark told us that the school bell had gone off (hillarious!😄). We started learning spelling reading and maths. Then Mum fell over and now shes using 2 crutches again. We made cards for Granny. I put a dragon on mine. In project work we made bookmarks. I’ll be back tommorow!

Mothers Day

  • My mum liked my gift! I also made her breakfast in bed. My cat nearly ran away from his hospital cage earlier but I caught him. And yesterday we wrote cards to authors who lost their jobs. We have our learning shedules ready for tommorrow:

8.30: ‘go’ to school

9.00: wake up shake up

9.30: project work

10.30: break

10.50: spelling

11.00: animal management – walking dogs, feeding cats and dogs, brushing Nessaphina the cat

11.30: math

12.15: lunch

1.15: literacy

2.30: write blog

3.00: end of school

Thats all from Caspian today! See ya tomorrow!

Taking care of my cats

Hi, Caspian is back! I have been taking care of my two cats, Matty and Ludo. I told you about Ludo yesterday; he is the one with the broken pelvis, and Matty  has huge fur balls on his neck which need shaving off. We tried cutting them off yesterday and nearly succeeded. Also yesterday, Matty slept on my pillow with me. I think Ludo would have done the same but he is in a cage to restrict his movement while his injury mends (he was knocked down by a car last Saturday).

I will try and post every day. I hope my mum likes her Mother’s day present. I am also a bit bored because my batteries ran out on my xbox controller. We are in twelve weeks self isolation now because mum has severe asthma and is recovering from an operation. We are helping her make hand sanitizer for the whole village and we are baking a lot of cakes. We gave our neighbour a carrot and orange cake yesterday. If you would like some hand sanitizer and have a plastic bottle, please drop it by our house so we can fill it for you. The ingredients have not been delivered yet though.

See ya tomorrow.

Being Home

Hi, its Caspian! I got home 3 hrs ago and already wanting to do math. I want to also be with friends. I also realised I’ll be sort of bored because I finished my book after being home for 1hr. Also want to say hi to Joe, great drawing. Very detailed! A minute ago I was making a house for my cat because of his broken pelvis. Mum is writing lesson plans too.Gotta wrap up now so, bye! 😀🤔👾🐺
