Water and Fire United

As part of my literacy lesson today, I was tasked with writing a short story incorporating two animals and a location. This is my story:

One day, a young water wolf wandered from its pack while they were trekking in the jungle. It saw some berries and went to eat them, only to find that the same thing happened to a fire wolf. They played tag for half an hour but then they heard howls and snarling and they got taken away by their mothers. Their packs were fighting. But the friends were not going to let this happen. They ran into the middle of the fight and talked some sense into the wolves. Some really smug wolf pushed them into each other and there was a red flash! They became obsidian wolves.  The rest of the pack did it and they became the most powerful pack of all!

Thursday

Caspian is back from a very flashy day! This time we started off the day with math and I still don’t like percentages  but I do like algebra. We did a lot of baking. We made oat cookies and shared them with the neighbours. I made scrambled eggs for lunch.  Me and Tanith made a short animation.  For what feels like a billion times, see ya tomorrow!

Wildlife from my window

I have been looking for wildlife in my garden today – I saw a peacock butterfly and a wood pigeon.  Have you seen any wildlife in your garden or from your window?  If you have, I would love to see a photo on the blog even if it is just some ants or a blackbird or a bumble bee.   Mrs Madden.

MY FIRST POST

This week i have done maths and the best part was arranging all the numbers from lowest to highest on the floor, i liked the dice game too.

I have been writing and learning my words, drawing pictures and writing about them.

Yesterday i sat outside and drew our swinging chair in the garden, i saw lots of rectangle shapes when i looked at it.

I then made the little book Mrs Nyondo showed us, it was fun and i wrote about my family

Today we have done Art and i drew a big rainbow, a dog, a penguin and a clock

We then planted some seeds and have kept them inside just now.

Then we made cakes, i made green icing for the top and my sister made pink icing for her cakes, then we put sprinkles on top

I am now going to write in my jotter the ingredients i used

We have been going nice long walks in the woods and over fields too

Bye for now

Hi everyone its Ella here. I have had a busy week.  Every morning we exercise with Joe on YouTube. I have been outside making a den in our garden and a fairy garden.  I made a rainbow picture and put it in the window.  I made bread and some fairy cakes. I cleaned the windows and dusted aswell.

I have been doing sums in my maths booklet and lots of reading and playing shops with money. 😊

My first week of home schooling

Hi guys Airen here, we have spent the week gardening and working on my maths I have been drawing things about the house too. Today we watched a programme about volcanos and i found out that  the biggest one in the world is Tamu Massif which is near Japan. Today we are getting some exercise by walking down by the river and bouncing on my trampoline.

Big Thursday!

Today I have cooked my lunch on my wood fired camping stove I made some roasted pumpkin and lentil soup and some toasted marshmellows. To start the fire I used a flint and steel. Today I also watered the plants and planted some peas so I got bit muddy.

Yesterday I watched a documentary on sharks in the Pacific Ocean near the Pitcairn Islands. I liked it and learnt some more about sharks from the show. After mummy and I researched the mutiny on the bounty after as Pitcairn island is where some of the mutineers set up home after they set the captain lose in a lifeboat. Today Mummy when to the supermarket to get some food and came home with a lego set for me, it os creator set I have made the shark  and crab so far.

Did you know that sharks have special sense? they have a ‘midline’ line that runs from there head to there trail along the line of dark skin and light skin it has lots of tiny hairs (called sila) that mean it can sense movements in the water. So I think the best thing to do when you are behind the shark is to stay really still….
