Thank You

Neve and Finlay’s families have left lovely comments for us as their children leave Nursery ready for the next step to Primary 1.

“Can’t believe it was Neve’s final day at nursery today. The last two years have flown by and I just wanted to thank all the amazing staff in nursery, for all the great work they do with the children. During the last two years Neve has learnt so much and is now ready for her next step into Primary 1. Hope all the staff have a lovely summer and a well deserved rest. Thank you again. Neve’s Mummy. X”

“I would just like to say a big thank you to all the lovely and amazing nursery staff who has taught Finlay for the last year, You all do a brilliant job with the children and I know Finlay will certainly miss you all, Finlay said he will come and visit when he is in Primary 1 so there is no escaping him. We hope you all have a lovely summer holiday. Love from Finlay’s Mummy and Daddy.X”

Thank you so much for everyone’s kind comments and thoughts in the past few days. We have had a wonderful year with you all, children and parents alike, and will miss you. We hope that you all have a lovely holiday with your families.

Miss Awde Returns to the Rainbow Room

Friday was the last day in the Sunshine Room for Miss Awde, our Modern Apprentice. She will now move to the Rainbow Room for the rest of the term. We are sure that the children in the Rainbow Room will be happy to have Miss Awde back but Sunshine children will, of course, still be able to enjoy playing with her in the Nursery garden. Thank you Miss Awde for all your hard work in the Sunshine Room this term.

Happy New Term

It was lovely to see you all again today after our Easter holiday. Staffing will stay the same in each room this term and the children will keep the same key workers as previously. However, Miss Awde, our Modern Apprentice, will now be working in the Sunshine Room and will finish the term in the Rainbow Room. No doubt the Sunshine children will be delighted to have Miss Awde back and we are certainly all looking forward to a fun term ahead.

Our “Special Books”

Thank you to those of you who have returned the children’s “special books” and for taking the time to provide us with feedback on your child’s progress. Finlay’s Mum has left us a lovely comment on the blog:

“We thought Finlay’s special book was really good and it tells us that Finlay is progressing well at nursery, keep up the good work Finlay and well done to the nursery staff as his book is very detailed we really enjoyed reading it.”

We hope that you have all enjoyed sharing the children’s “special books” with your families and ask that those who have not yet returned them, do so early next week so that we can continue to record your child’s achievements. Please remember that you can look at your child’s book at any time in Nursery – they are on display in the book area in each room.
