At Abercromby Primary, we are proud of our P7 Junior Leadership Team, which gives pupils the chance to take on important responsibilities and play an active role in shaping school life.

Each year, our Primary 7s apply and are selected for a range of leadership roles, which for session 2025/2026 include House Captains, Sports Captains, Numeracy Champions, Literacy Leads, Abercromby Super Savers, Community Champions, Family Learning, the Fundraising Team, and the Pupil Council.

Being part of the Junior Leadership Team allows our young people to lead by example, support their peers, promote learning, encourage healthy lifestyles, and strengthen links with families and the wider community. The team has been a great success, giving pupils the chance to build confidence, teamwork, and leadership skills while making a real difference across the whole school.
