In August we entered our new school building for the first time.

P7W – Mrs Wilson and Miss Brown

Welcome to P7W!

I look forward to working with you all this year and having a fantastic year in P7!

Timetable:

P.E – Tuesday and Wednesday

Art – Monday

Homework:

Homework grids will be given out to every pupil at the beginning of each term. Spelling words will be sent home on a Monday and there will be a weekly spelling test on a Friday. Homework is due in on a Friday for marking.

School show:

In P7 you have the opportunity to audition for our Christmas show. If you do not wish to have a speaking part, there are lots of other roles we need to fill to ensure the show is a success.

Prefects:

Each of you will now become a prefect and will be the role models for all the other pupils in school. Some of your duties may include; buddies, Bank Team, Sports leaders, House Captains etc.

If a parent wishes to ask questions or make a query, please contact me through the school office, either by phone or make an appointment.

Primary 6 pupils will have the opportunity to become Reading Partners and Buddies with younger pupils. We will be taking part in the Max in the Middle health programme, with a pupil performance on Friday 26th October.

At the beginning of this year we will be focusing on the spy novel ‘Stormbreaker’ by Anthony Horowitz.

In Primary 5 the class novel will be Gangsta Granny by David Walliams. We will be reading Gangsta Granny throughout the first term.

Mr Gough will teach Art  and Design on Mondays fortnightly (Beginning Aug.20th).

P.E. days are Monday, Tuesday and Thursday with Mr Roberts and Miss Paul.

Homework

Homework grids and Spelling word lists will be given out each term. Pupils can choose the activities they would like to complete from their sheet. Completed homework should be handed in on a Friday.

P4H – Miss Hamill

Welcome to P4H!

I am looking forward to a fantastic year of learning in Primary 4! Below you will find some more information about our class.

Art & PE

In Primary 4, we will have PE on a Monday, Wednesday and Thursday with Mr Roberts and Miss Paul. Please can you ensure your child brings a full PE kit (t-shirt, shorts, suitable shoes) and all labelled into class. These will be kept in class until the end of the term, when they will be sent home to be freshened up! Can you also ensure your child does not wear jewellery on PE days.

We will have Art with Mr Gough every second Tuesday afternoon. If you would like to provide an Art shirt to protect your child’s clothing, please feel free to bring this into school, fully labelled.

Welcome to P4D!

I am looking forward to a fantastic year of learning in Primary 4! Below you will find some more information about our class.

Art & PE

In Primary 4, we will have PE on a Wednesday, Thursday and Friday with Mr Roberts. Please can you ensure your child brings a full PE kit (t-shirt, shorts, suitable shoes) and all labelled into class.
