Homework

Please see guide to setting out homework in homework jotter and guide for what homework will look like in Primary 5. Traffic lights sheets are at the back of homework jotters. Please ensure homework jotters are brought to school every day.

Please ensure all homework is completed by the Friday of that week, unless your child has earned a ‘Homework pass’ which they can choose to use instead of completing one night’s task (of their choice). Homework will be checked daily, but is set on a Monday for the week so that pupils can plan their homework around their after school activities. Sometimes pupils will be given a ‘Homework Grid’ where they can choose which task or tasks they would like to complete. Any questions about homework, please ask the teacher before the due date.

P.E.

This term P.E. will be on Wednesdays and Fridays. Please ensure all shoes and clothing are clearly labelled with your child’s name and class. No jewellery is allowed in P.E. and long hair should be tied up.

Note – P.E. on Wednesdays will be from 9-9.45am. In order that pupils get their full time with the P.E. specialist, please could pupils come to school with their gym kit on underneath their uniform or come earlier to school to get changed. Pupils can come in from 08.50am.
