P4W – Miss Wozniak

Welcome to P4W!

Please find some information below regarding some of our daily and weekly routines:

  • PE will take place on a Wednesday and Thursday with Mrs Chance and on a Friday with Mr Roberts. Please can you ensure your child has a full, labelled PE kit including shoes, shorts and t-shirt. Pupils should leave their PE kits in class. These will be sent home at the end of each term.
  • Art will take place on a Wednesday afternoon. Please feel free to provide your child with a paint shirt to wear to protect their school uniform.
  • Homework will be issued on a termly basis. Pupils will receive a copy of a homework grid with a variety of tasks to complete over the course of the term. Pupils may wish to bring some completed tasks into school on a Friday to share with myself and the class. Tasks should be ticked/signed off once completed. Pupils in P4 will always have weekly spelling words to practice and reading homework to complete.
  • Traffic Lights to monitor behaviour are available on the back of their Reading Records (inside their reading books) to ensure you are aware of any concerns/issues in class.
  • We will be continuing to use Sumdog in class to support Numeracy. Pupils can also use this at home. All pupils have a username and password to access, please let me know if you would also like a copy of this.
  • Whilst we encourage pupils to cycle and scoot to school, please be aware that pupils must walk with their bikes and scooters in the playground.
  • We encourage pupils to drink plain, unflavoured water in school. Please can you provide your child with a labelled bottle of water which they can use throughout the school day.
