Numeracy Support
At The Gordon Schools we aim to support all learners to develop their numeracy skills at a pace which is right for them.
The way in which we work with individual students is tailored to their needs and may include:
Support from a member of the ASL team in class
Provision of adapted learning materials
Additional tutorial periods, usually in a small group setting
A wide range of learning resources are used to support the development of numeracy including:
Kinaesthetic materials
Online learning tools
Skills for life real world maths activities
