We are delighted to say a HUGE thank you to Mrs Wooldridge, Mrs Wright and Mrs Davies for their very kind book donations to the children during Share A Story Week. Unfortunately due to our full on Christmas preparations we will not have Share A Story this December but we would love you to come in the week beginning Monday 22nd January 2018 to share a Scottish Story with the children.
This week at nursery – week beginning 27.11.17
We will continue learning about hibernation this week as they children are really engaging well with it.
Monday – Mandarin, am children
Tuesday – Circle time for all in the GP room . Baking shortbread for St Andrews Day.
Wellie Wednesday – everyone out, den making, stick whittling, tree faces, sensory walk.
Thursday – St Andrew celebration, wear a touch of tartan. Preschool children attending school assembly.
Friday – PE in the gym hall. Christmas Party games practice.

This week the morning session children have been learning the following signs on the above “Talking Homework”
Each week we revisit the Makaton we have learnt the previous week, the children seem to be really enjoying their session each week and really soaking up this new signs!

What’s Happening this week – 20/11/17
On Monday we will be introducing a talking tub at circle time to see where the children want their learning to go next. Following our woods walk and Wellie Wednesday they have been asking about birds and hibernating animals. Please remember to keep an eye on the planning in the floorbook to keep up to date with the children’s thoughts and learning. We will also have Mandarin on Monday am.
Tuesday – Circle Time, choosing new Christmas Songs to sing
Wednesday – Child Smile will be in nursery coating the children’s teeth then it’s outdoors for everyone. We are whittling, creating tree faces and designing a boat for the mud garden.
Thursday – Makaton for the pre-school children and Yoga for the Ante pre
Friday – Obstacle course at PE in the hall to develop Gross Motor Skills
