This week in Nursery….

I hope you have all had a fantastic weekend and are all full of Christmas cheer.  This week we are going to be very busy with craft, singing, dancing and learning about the Christmas Story.  Our role play corner has been changed into Bethlehem and the children will be dressing up in a variety of Christmas costumes.

Monday – Mandarin for the am children   Tuesday – circle time     Wednesday – Wellies on and we are out (activities will depend on weather)   Thursday – Yoga and Makaton     Friday – PE

Can I remind you all that there is NO afternoon  nursery session on Wednesday 20th December as all nursery children are invited to Church  for the End of Year assembly.  Please sign your child up for this session if you want them to attend.  Children to meet staff at the church.

Makaton

Today we have been learning how to sign along to songs.

We learnt how to sign to “Three little monkeys” and “Rudolph the red nose reindeer”.

The children did a fantastic job of learning the signs and using them when singing!

The children are showing enjoyment from this session each Thursday and are soaking up all the new signs!
