Primary 4 class Miss Jamieson performed a wonderful Robert Burns Assembly for primary 1 to 7. They would have put a lot of effort and confidence in this and braveness! There speech’s were really amazing and clear. And a lot of research was put in to this as we could see!

Robert Burns Poetry Competition
Everyone from P1 to P7 took part in the competition. Children in Primary 1 were learning the Wee Red Motor while children in P5 were learning Ellin’s Spellin’. The winners of p5 where Amber who came 2nd Cameron came 3rd and Millie came 1st ! They where presented with a certificate at Assembly. There are more certificates to come from the Burn’s Federation but haven’t arrived yet .

P1R Class Work
This term P1R have made icicles. The P1s enjoyed painting pictures of Robert Burns. They have made “Wee reed motors” which was the poem they were given home to learn. The P1s are studying wind turbines with their teacher and learning how they work.

P1T and P1R Class Work
This term Primary1T have been learning about Scotland and it’s weather. They have drawn and painted “Wee reed motors” which was the poem they received home to recite. The P1s have drawn pictures of Robert Burns and made kilts out of paper. They have also made little Scottish flags. One of the pupils told us, “We have been learning about the weather in Scotland”.
