Everyone from P1 to P7 took part in the competition. Children in Primary 1 were learning the Wee Red Motor while children in P5 were learning Ellin’s Spellin’. The winners of p5 where Amber who came 2nd Cameron came 3rd and Millie came 1st ! They where presented with a certificate at Assembly. There are more certificates to come from the Burn’s Federation but haven’t arrived yet .

Primary 6/7 have been writing a poem about daffodils after listening to poetry written by William Wordsworth.
The poem we heard was about a man who looks outside and sees lots of daffodils, apparently ten thousand.

P4/5 have learned poems. The poem that our class has learned is called First Catch Your Haggis. Our teacher gives the poems to us to learn and then when we know them, we will say it to the class. The teacher will select 3 people who she thinks are the best. They get to say it in front of the Head Teacher.
