If you decide that you have made a mistake with your choice of course at university, in some cases, it might be possible to transfer to a different course at the same university but in others, you may feel that it would be better to apply for something different the following year.

If this is the case, you should contact your PCS teacher who will be able to guide you through your application even although you are no longer a pupil.  It is much easier to monitor your application and provide a reference if you process your application through the school, rather than as an individual.

Reapplying in this way tends to be in extreme cases only however and most people can negotiate a change within their current establishment.
