• count on the right amount . . . one jump for each number

• see (think) where you have landed.

Indoor Gym Information

Please ensure that everyone has a pair of indoor gym shoes for PE next week. Additionally, on our PE day (Wednesday) could all children come to school dressed in joggers or leggings as we are not able to facilitate a changing room. The weather is becoming more and more unpredictable, so we have begun to utilise the indoor gym hall and will continue to do so. A risk assessment has been created in order for us to do this.

Weekly Spelling

Each child is in a spelling group- matched to their spelling needs. We have conducted spelling assessments  and observations and as a result, we are making steady progress. We will begin to increase the number/length of words to extend vocabulary and challenge children now that they have increased their confidence from experiencing some success. We are glad to see they are motivated to blend, sound out and spell words more independently.

We have been posting the spelling groups to your child individually on the Google Classroom.  Access by searching google classroom and entering your child’s details (they look like this gw1……………….@ab-ed.org).

If you require this details again, please contact me (Mrs Tysom) via email : CTysom@aberdeencity.gov.uk

There is an option to complete the spellings at home on paper and hand in via posting a photo, same goes for the CLIC Targets, the more practice your child gets with these weekly words and CLIC targets, the easier they will become.

Once again, we thank you all for your support during this time.
