Our focus for other maths work this week will be time. We will be revising o’clock and half past times and learning about quarter to and quarter past.
French – This week we will have some little conversations using what we know already.
Hello. How are you? Where do you live?
Homework – Our spelling pattern this week is ue. Please write each word 3 times and choose 2 words and write a sentence with each. Spelling test will be on Friday this week so homework should be completed by then. Some of the children have an extra spelling challenge again in their homework book.
You can see how your child got on with last week’s spelling at the back of the homework book.
Topic – We will carry on with our topic of Scotland. We have looked at a map of Scotland and found where the main cities are. This week we will be learning some Scottish dancing, learning a Scottish poem ( a copy will be sent home to practice) and learning some more about the customs of our country. If the children have anything relating to Scotland at home they can bring it in.
