The children got the chance to see some newborn lambs on Thursday. They were only a day old.

Topic – This week we will focus on the sense of touch. We will be exploring different textures and identifying objects by the sense of touch alone.

We will also revise the numbers 1-12 as we use them in our age questions.

Topic – This week we will focus on the sense of smell. We will be trying to work out what things are by smell alone. The children will also find out how it is closely related to the sense of taste.

Topic – This week we will finish off hearing by labelling the ear. Then we will move on to the sense of taste. We will find out about the different tastes our tongue can sense and we will be doing some fruit tasting.
