On Monday 14th both p7 classes and p6 all got dressed up for a fun filled ceilidh. The ceilidh started at 7:00 and ended at 9:00. We all enjoyed dancing things like the Dashing White Sergeant and the Canadian Barn Dance. As well as that we also had a live band to play the music. Then we stopped for food and played some pop tunes while we ate. We were all allowed to take 5 things each and then if there were extras you were allowed to get seconds. If you didn’t want seconds you could dance with your pals while you waited for the band to finish their well-earned break. While the band were getting ready to play the second half of the evening, everyone got up and did dances like 5,6,7,8 and the Macarena. At the second half of the night we did Strip the Willow, The Flying Scotsman and some other group dances, even the teachers got involved with the dances. This was sadly the last Christmas ceilidh for the p7 pupils and I think I can speak for all of us… We wish it wasn’t our last and we would like to say thank you to everyone who organised the wonderful event!
