PRIMARY 7 VISIT ARDMAY OUTDOOR CENTRE

Our Primary 7 pupils visited Ardmay Outdoor Centre for a three-day residential course from 24th – 27th September. They had a great time, discovering new talents, making new friends and bulding on existing friendships. During their stay they undertook their Dynamic Youth Award.

Dynamic Youth Awards encourage young people to take on responsibility and create a personalised learning programme based on their own interests. The Awards help learning providers to accredit achievements within and out with their establishment, in a manner expected by Curriculum for Excellence. Learners working on an Award use skills – such as leadership, creativity and research – that help build confidence and create a well-rounded individual.

We are now eagerly awaiting the presentation of their certificates. Well done to everyone concerned.

You will see from the pictures what a great time was had by all (even our Head Teacher, who visited each evening!).

  1. It looks like you had great fun learning in the great outdoors, Kilcreggan. P6/7 at Rosneath are heading to Ardeonaig Outdoor Centre in the New Year. Your weather looked not too bad. I wonder what we’ll get? We had snow last time!
