Lochnell pupils from Primary 5 and 4 took part in the Island and Coastal Explorers Project with Stramash.
The children had an active day exploring Kerrera and a great outdoor learning experience, finding out about the history of the Island as well as the wildlife and geology.
Glad they enjoyed their day. Kerrera is a great island to explore- very rich in social history as well as geology, geography and flora and fauna. So much to see, do and learn about. We’re looking forward to taking the children out again in a couple of weeks. The Island and Coastal Explorers project will see over 2000 pupil outdoor learning days in Mid-Argyll, Oban and Lorn and Mull during April, May and June. It’s an exciting project. http://www.stramash.org.uk
