Nativity Play at Castlehill

Friday 14th December was a very special afternoon in Castlehill Primary. Primary 1 and Primary 2 delighted family and friends with their excellent and well rehearsed Nativity Play. Expertly narrated by 5 of our Primary 2 pupils, the story unfolded to a hushed and very appreciative audience. Angels sang, stars shone, shepherds tended their flock, wise men found their way, and Mary, Joseph and their new baby were cosy in the stable. The afternoon was brought to a close with a rousing rendition of “We Wish you a Merry Christmas”.

Once again Castlehill rose to occasion producing a show which was thoroughly enjoyed by all and highlighted the talent and stage presence of our youngest members of the school.

A very big thank you to our teaching and support staff who made the event possible. Thank you also to Mr David McEwan who was our pianist for the day and also for coming in to school for rehearsals.

Well done everyone!!

  1. Yet again this year the younger children of the school excelled in their performance. It is such an enjoyable event each year. Well done to all the teachers, helpers for the hard work that must be involved in the teaching all the wee ones in their flawless words in the songs. A lovely afternoon was had. (Proud parent)
