Dunoon Primary School held their annual PTA Christmas Fayre on 29th November 2012. The hall was beautifully decorated with a huge tree and superb Christmas frieze of a traditional Christmas Scene! There was lots of artistic art work created by Dunoon Primary pupils on display too! The stalls in the hall varied from home made chocolates to jewellery. The fantastic Dunoon Primary Choir came on and sang beautifully at the start bringing a medley of Christmas songs.
Thank you to all our parents who dressed them so beautifully in their pristine uniforms. The PTA were busy taking pictures of delighted children visiting Santa in the Grotto. There was a chocolate fountain and Michelle McDonald was there to provide lots of Christmas Cheer! The hustle and bustle in the hallway was due to the face painting skills of our precious PTA. Mrs Wakefield dressed for the occasion as a Snow Queen and could be seen in almost every corner of the building.
There was also a luxury hamper on offer as the main raffle prize and a chocolate tombola as well. Well done to the elves from P7 who carried out their duties really well! The teaching staff of Dunoon Primary worked so hard in the kitchen. Thank you to everyone who donated home baking for this year’s fayre. A superb night was had by all!
Well done, Dunoon. It looked like everyone was having a ball – all hands on deck! It is great when the community turns out to support the local school when they have worked so hard together.
