Bunessan Primary 5,6 & 7 classes recently enjoyed an excellent day at Oban Market. This was the culmination of their recent crofting topic. The auctioneer, Raymond, took the children on a tour of the market and the children learned about the different breeds of sheep and Raymond explained how he decided what price to start the auction at. The children then had an opportunity to be the auctioneer and the buyers. The most exciting part was watching the auction and trying to spot who was bidding.
