During the spring and summer months, the children at Campbeltown Nursery Centre were very busy giving their nursery garden a make over and planting seeds. They’ve successfully grown peas, turnips, carrots, herbs and Strawberries (apparently they taste “better than the ones in the shops”!) where only grass and hard ground was before.
Some of the children have recently been busy digging up some carrots and turnips from the nursery garden. The carrots were washed, chopped up and tasted by everyone and were given a big thumbs up.
